A Vision: We Are All Connected

A Vision: We Are All Connected

Sometime around 2019, the time of my own "awakening," I received a vision. At the time I was very fundamentalist Christian, so this was an interesting thing to receive, with no solid framework to receive it in.

In the vision, I see a green plane, a grid like I might have seen on an old Apple computer in the 80s.

Green grid extends as far as the eye can see, and upon this grid are small dots. These I interpreted as humans; now I believe they are consciousnesses.

Each dot was connected to a neighbor; all dots connected in this way.

And each dot was connected to a larger dot hovering above it all. I interpreted this as "God," now I think of it as "Source."

The strong sense that came with this vision was: we are all connected.

My understanding of this has grown over the years since. I read the Nag Hammadi scriptures, and understand when Jesus says:

"I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained.
Split a piece of wood; I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find me there” (Gospel of Thomas, 77)

It is this essence that is within us all, within everything. These concepts are echoed in many traditions, so many different ways of trying to show us the truth: we are not as individual as we think.

This vision came to mind again when I listened to Telepathy Tapes Talk Tracks Episode 11 and Tom Campbell says:

"One fact is that all consciousness are netted. It's like the internet. Every consciousness, including your dog and your cat are all netted. So they're connected."

This is the calling, now, to understand how inextricably connected all existence is, and we begin to find it by seeking the light within everything.

The car, the spider, the bird singing, the taste of a favorite food melting in your mouth, even the obnoxious neighbor with too-loud opinions.

Because once we deeply understand this truth, we open a reality that is fuller, deeper, truer, and nothing is ever the same again.
